The circle of relatives of a distinguished British-Egyptian pro-democracy activist, who’s been on starvation strike in prison for greater than 100 days, are rising an increasing number of involved for him.

Alaa Abdel Fattah is without doubt one of the maximum prime profile of tens of 1000’s of presidency critics imprisoned in Egypt on what human rights teams say are politically-motivated fees.

He won British citizenship in April. And politicians and celebrities in the United Kingdom have pop out in his beef up.

Since this video used to be filmed, it is been reported that his identify has been handed to the Egyptian government to be thought to be for a Presidential pardon. Then again none has been issued up to now.
