Latvia’s parliament has voted to take away all closing Soviet statues and plaques.

The rustic has joined Estonia in bringing down International Conflict II memorials in keeping with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Demolition equipment used to be used to take away the 79-metre (259-foot) monument.
