Mark Rowley named London Met Police commissioner


Sir Mark Rowley has been appointed commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, changing Dame Cressida Dick who stood down in February.

Rowley has served within the power for 30 years, latterly because the Nationwide Police Chiefs’ Council lead for counter-terrorism till he left in 2018.
